Did you know the iconic Sidekick II started its life as the “Danger Hiptop”? From roughly 2006 to 2009 a new QWERTY keyboard phone dropped every other week, and you couldn’t watch a music video that didn’t feature heavy product placement for the Motorola Fngr Blast 12 or LG Cotton Candy X or something. The disposability was the point, all the better to perpetuate a constant churn of new trend cycles but this T-Mobile Juicy Couture Sidekick II is an heirloom piece. This phone said, “I’m sexy, I’m kewt, and use two thumbs to boot!” Viva the homotextual!
