Overhead Projector and Screen Ornament Raffle Ticket

Handmade by Annelise Capossela

$10.00

Let’s dim the lights, roll out the cart with the squeaky wheel, and do some math problems on the overhead projector. “You’re projecting” isn’t a pejorative anymore, it’s a call to join in the time honored tradition of turning a sentence diagramming lesson into a shadow play. Every young queer can remember sitting at their desks, just itching to get called up and be the puppet master themselves. Choose your dry-erase color wisely (pink) and telegraph to the class ya gay. This 90s projector is armed with a transparency sheet covered in decidedly non-algebraic doodles, as well as a screen that just might kill you with the recoil when you try to roll it back up.
