Pearl Quearring Ornament Raffle Ticket
Handmade by Presley Oldham
$10.00
The fashion world has been absolutely splattered with pearl necklaces lately. One of the most clutch looks from The InQueery’s deep dive into nacrephelia was a waist-coated Ben Platt at the Met Gala, a Presley Oldham strand slung over one shoulder. Oldham crafted this quearring from “scraps […] I cut away from his body to make the piece he wore fit better.” Ben Platt’s Scraps. Say that five times fast.
Later that year, Platt walked RuPaul’s runway in a classic pearl necklace coyly declaring, “it’s not my first.” Indeed.
